Férid Khalifa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petru Hristea, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Férid Khalifa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petru Hristea's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. King King was extremely unlucky when he, in the 12th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. King King could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Férid Khalifa made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Botafogo MZRJ's zone, King King stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Férid Khalifa came out of the goal and King King tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the game, Cido Nóbrega was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Botafogo MZRJ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kobra TEAM the free kick. Cido Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Matías Brasil ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Botafogo MZRJ defense, King King kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Férid Khalifa. The Botafogo MZRJ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Férid Khalifa should have stopped the shot. After 91 played minutes Kobra TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Cazimir Botescu. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
