A beautiful save bye Botafogo MZRJ's goalie prevented a goal. 4 minutes into the match, Matías Brasil notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Hagmoren BK's Lasse Eriksson. Lasse Eriksson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conny Ronaldo in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Férid Khalifa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cumhur Atasan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Férid Khalifa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tony Kvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Férid Khalifa having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Conny Ronaldo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hagmoren BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Conny Ronaldo sped through Botafogo MZRJ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Férid Khalifa. When Hagmoren BK's Conny Ronaldo in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 27thth minute of the game Conny Ronaldo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Botafogo MZRJ's Férid Khalifa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cumhur Atasan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Férid Khalifa having to make a save. In the 35th minute Matías Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lasse Eriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Botafogo MZRJ's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Kvist came free, but Férid Khalifa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tony Kvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Férid Khalifa having to interfere. Tony Kvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 45 minutes into the game, Hagmoren BK's Conny Ronaldo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Férid Khalifa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Osvaldo Braga hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Brasil in the 55th minute of play forced Hagmoren BK's goalkeeper Lasse Eriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tony Kvist got free with Férid Khalifa in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tony Kvist in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Férid Khalifa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 62 minutes into the game, Nando Tande threw the ball into play from the sideline. Hagmoren BK's Julian Rojewski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Rosendahl in the 63rd minute of play forced Botafogo MZRJ's goalkeeper Férid Khalifa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Hagmoren BK getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Tommy Abrahamsson hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Botafogo MZRJ's goalkeeper Férid Khalifa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tony Kvist. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conny Ronaldo in the 72nd minute of play forced Botafogo MZRJ's goalkeeper Férid Khalifa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match, Conny Ronaldo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Férid Khalifa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Conny Ronaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hagmoren BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Conny Ronaldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Férid Khalifa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Conny Ronaldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Férid Khalifa made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Botafogo MZRJ's Osvaldo de Queirós got a free kick in the 77th minute. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Conny Ronaldo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Férid Khalifa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Conny Ronaldo in the 94th minute. Nando Tande hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Conny Ronaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Botafogo MZRJ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hagmoren BK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
