Junior Kobra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After some careless play in the Botafogo MZRJ defense, King King kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Férid Khalifa. The Botafogo MZRJ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Férid Khalifa should have stopped the shot. If Murillo Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by King King in the 13th minute of play forced Botafogo MZRJ's goalkeeper Férid Khalifa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Botafogo MZRJ's Férid Khalifa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by King King in the 38th minute of play. Junior Kobra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Kobra TEAM's goalkeeper Junior Kobra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Murillo Loureiro.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for King King to strike the kick off in the second half. Răzvan Pelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Junior Kobra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Brasil in the 53rd minute of play. Matías Brasil spun around in front of the goal 54 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Kobra TEAM's goal. With a little luck, Botafogo MZRJ's Férid Khalifa got control of the ball when Răzvan Pelin tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Matías Brasil sped through Kobra TEAM's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Junior Kobra. If Matías Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Férid Khalifa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of King King's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Josué Matos charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Josué Matos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Josué Matos hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the game, Botafogo MZRJ's Matías Brasil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Junior Kobra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Josué Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Junior Kobra having to interfere. Junior Kobra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Brasil in the 77th minute of play. Férid Khalifa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from King King, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matías Brasil in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Junior Kobra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82nd minute of the match Botafogo MZRJ got a corner. Kobra TEAM's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Osvaldo de Queirós ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Botafogo MZRJ's corner Osvaldo de Queirós fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Junior Kobra quite easily take care of the ball. After 85 played minutes Kobra TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Gavril Panțâru. If Matías Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee ended the match the Botafogo MZRJ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
