A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Penha Athletico Club booed when The Owls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Creemers didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Belmiro Veiga in the 14th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by The Owls's William Creemers. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gino Galante in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hortêncio Figueiredo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as The Owls's Gino Galante slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hortêncio Figueiredo. That made the score 2-0 after 17 minutes of play. In the 20th minute, The Owls's Gino Galante dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 23rd minute, Gino Galante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hortêncio Figueiredo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After having played for 27 minutes, Cristian Furdui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Owls's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Furdui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Ubarna Harroyo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hortêncio Figueiredo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 34 minutes into the game, Gino Galante lined in a short shot 6-0 behind a frustrated Hortêncio Figueiredo. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Gino Galante put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hortêncio Figueiredo. Hortêncio Figueiredo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gino Galante in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute of the match, Ubarna Harroyo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hortêncio Figueiredo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 44 minutes into the match, Gino Galante dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hortêncio Figueiredo, 8-0. In the 48th minute, The Owls's Gino Galante ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hortêncio Figueiredo. Hortêncio Figueiredo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 9-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 9-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ubarna Harroyo made a kick off. Gino Galante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Owls's Gino Galante got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hortêncio Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubarna Harroyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Gino Galante left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Owls fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. After 68 played minutes Penha Athletico Club got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernando Tróia. 70 minutes into the game, Frederico Tinoco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Penha Athletico Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Owls the free kick. After 70 played minutes Penha Athletico Club got a freekick which was hit by Frederico Tinoco. Gino Galante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hortêncio Figueiredo having to make a save. Penha Athletico Club's Hortêncio Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gino Galante in the 71st minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Penha Athletico Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gino Galante came free, but Hortêncio Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Ubarna Harroyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murilo Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jan-Åke Emander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hortêncio Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubarna Harroyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rdth minute of the game Gino Galante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Penha Athletico Club's Hortêncio Figueiredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 88 minutes, Gino Galante made it 13-0 with a short kick to the right side. Penha Athletico Club's Hortêncio Figueiredo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Gino Galante put it in 14-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hortêncio Figueiredo. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Gino Galante put it in 15-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hortêncio Figueiredo. The Owls walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
