Wellington de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sándor Kocsis in the 4th minute of the match. The supporters of Canteranos Fc booed when Mayhem Sharks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serginho Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mayhem Sharks's Wellington de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sándor Kocsis in the 7th minute of play. If Narciso Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wellington de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sándor Kocsis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Narciso Dias kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tadeo Fortea. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Mayhem Sharks's Aloísio Toscano was substituted for Horácio Tinoco. Wellington de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sándor Kocsis, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Tadeo Fortea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sándor Kocsis in the 36th minute of play forced Mayhem Sharks's goalkeeper Wellington de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Fortea made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Narciso Dias sent off a good shot on target. Tadeo Fortea stood somewhat misplaced when Narciso Dias came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 40 minute. Mayhem Sharks's Narciso Dias got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Canteranos Fc's Sándor Kocsis in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mayhem Sharks's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 53 played minutes Mayhem Sharks got a freekick which was hit by Serginho Velasco. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Canteranos Fc's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jailson Rossi was slow to take the kick. During this time Mayhem Sharks's players had a chance to rest. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Paulo José Garcia got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-0. 62 minutes into the match. Mayhem Sharks's Osvaldo da Mata got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A throw-in in the 70th minute of the game was made by Serginho Velasco with Paulo José Garcia as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Wellington de Almeida made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Wanderson Pombal sent off a good shot on target. Tadeo Fortea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fachtna Duggan, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 79thth minute of the game Fachtna Duggan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canteranos Fc's Tadeo Fortea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Canteranos Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Fachtna Duggan came free, but Tadeo Fortea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tadeo Fortea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fachtna Duggan, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 88th minute Fachtna Duggan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Fortea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fachtna Duggan might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeo Fortea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fachtna Duggan ran back to his position shaking his head. Mayhem Sharks were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
