Hortêncio Figueiredo was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Lennie Buckler capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lennie Buckler really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 17 minutes into the game, Frederico Tinoco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Penha Athletico Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alvarado de Mar del Plata the free kick. Hortêncio Figueiredo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lennie Buckler. 20 minutes into the match, Lennie Buckler dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hortêncio Figueiredo, 2-0. Hortêncio Figueiredo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lennie Buckler in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute Kang Feng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hortêncio Figueiredo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kang Feng showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 25 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Fernando Tróia in the 30th minute of play forced Alvarado de Mar del Plata's goalkeeper Iker Mincho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frederico Tinoco hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Kang Feng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Hortêncio Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hortêncio Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Ghițescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Lennie Buckler to fire away a dangerous shot which Hortêncio Figueiredo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 61st match minute, Penha Athletico Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belmiro Veiga to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute of the match Lennie Buckler sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hortêncio Figueiredo skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Alvarado de Mar del Plata getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jacobo Vincent hit a great ball. Alvarado de Mar del Plata made a substitution. Hortêncio Figueiredo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jakub Brabec couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Penha Athletico Club defense, Daniel Ghițescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hortêncio Figueiredo. The Penha Athletico Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hortêncio Figueiredo should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Kang Feng got a free kick in the 94th minute. Iker Mincho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Moreno in the 96th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Alvarado de Mar del Plata had played much better football throughout.
