Narciso Dias struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Margus Niilus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mayhem Sharks. Mayhem Sharks's Wellington de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Luz in the 4th minute of play. Narciso Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wellington de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Pitta in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th minute Vítor Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellington de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Narciso Dias in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Margus Niilus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by FUTEBOL ARTE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Narciso Dias was slow to take the kick. During this time Mayhem Sharks's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Narciso Dias got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Margus Niilus quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 18th minute, Osvaldo da Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Mayhem Sharks's goalkeeper Wellington de Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vítor Peixoto. When Narciso Dias came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Mayhem Sharks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Dias couldn't finish the play. FUTEBOL ARTE's Margus Niilus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Dias in the 28th minute of play. Wellington de Almeida made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Yan Le sent off a good shot on target. Wellington de Almeida was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vítor Peixoto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 37 minute of play. Narciso Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Margus Niilus having to interfere. Mayhem Sharks's Wellington de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Pitta in the 41st minute of play. With a little luck, Mayhem Sharks's Wellington de Almeida got control of the ball when Yan Le tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Wellington de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Peixoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute Vítor Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellington de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vítor Peixoto in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wellington de Almeida saved Mayhem Sharks from getting behind. 59 minutes into the match, FUTEBOL ARTE's goal looked a bit too open when Jailson Rossi came free, but Margus Niilus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Dias's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Margus Niilus skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of FUTEBOL ARTE booed when Mayhem Sharks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arcadio Valdés didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Vítor Peixoto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wellington de Almeida. Mayhem Sharks's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vítor Peixoto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 71st minute of the game Belmiro Martins made a throw-in which Ulises Manuelo played forward. A collision led to Mayhem Sharks getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Narciso Dias hit a great ball. Mayhem Sharks's Luís Fabiano de Andrade was substituted for Narciso Dias. After 79 played minutes Mayhem Sharks got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Dias. 81 minutes into the game, Luís Fabiano de Andrade recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Margus Niilus. Luís Fabiano de Andrade showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan Le in the 84th minute of play forced Mayhem Sharks's goalkeeper Wellington de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wellington de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Peixoto in the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute Yan Le shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellington de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudinho Pitta in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wellington de Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wellington de Almeida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yan Le's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. If Luís Fabiano de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mayhem Sharks's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
