The corner led to Sportivo Luan Toro's Marcial Iigo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Wellington de Almeida was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 48 minutes into the match, Mayhem Sharks's goal looked a bit too open when Olli Fiedler came free, but Wellington de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Sportivo Luan Toro were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
