After having played for 7 minutes, Washington Papa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club El Progreso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Washington Papa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Van der Weijden in the 10th minute of play forced Club El Progreso's goalkeeper Benjamin Tino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Tino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso March in the 11th minute of play. Rio de la Plata 91218 3-1 were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Club El Progreso's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Astor Estevez took the corner. Rio de la Plata 91218 3-1's Juan Quiroga suffered a sore thigh after 12 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Rio de la Plata 91218 3-1's Cristian Clodio was substituted for Juan Quiroga. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club El Progreso! Club El Progreso:s Benjamin Tino showed great skill when he stopped Astor Estevez:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Rio de la Plata 91218 3-1's Israel Ishmael got a free kick in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cleto Cordaro got free with Victoriano Dunixi in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Indiana Jones in the 29th minute of play forced Rio de la Plata 91218 3-1's goalkeeper Victoriano Dunixi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raul Furtado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victoriano Dunixi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Indiana Jones in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Narciso March shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Tino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victoriano Dunixi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Indiana Jones, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Victoriano Dunixi made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Cleto Cordaro sent off a good shot on target. Narciso March's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamin Tino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Rio de la Plata 91218 3-1 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Ishmael to maneuver through the defense. Victoriano Dunixi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cleto Cordaro in the 40th minute. Cleto Cordaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benjamin Tino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso March in the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Narciso March to make the kick off. Rio de la Plata 91218 3-1's Victoriano Dunixi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Cordaro in the 64th minute of play. Victoriano Dunixi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indiana Jones in the 74th minute of play. Narciso March scored 1-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Tino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Victoriano Dunixi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indiana Jones in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Rio de la Plata 91218 3-1's goal looked a bit too open when Indiana Jones came free, but Victoriano Dunixi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
