With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laffitte Rioz in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Demetrio Busillo saved Real Unión CF from getting behind. When Lucas Cepa fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Buceo's protests and gave Lucas Cepa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Cepa to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Ilazki Serrana notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sporting Buceo's Angelo Carballal. Angelo Carballal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Real Unión CF booed when Sporting Buceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laffitte Rioz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute Ilazki Serrana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Carballal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demetrio Busillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laffitte Rioz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilmar Cuadrillero was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 35 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Sporting Buceo's Gilmar Cuadrillero got a free kick in the 36th minute. Angelo Carballal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominguez Muniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 43rd minute, Dominguez Muniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Laffitte Rioz made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Ilazki Serrana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Real Unión CF's zone, Laffitte Rioz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demetrio Busillo came out of the goal and Laffitte Rioz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute Laffitte Rioz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demetrio Busillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xarles Gadañon's late challenge caught a Real Unión CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xarles Gadañon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xarles Gadañon to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Cepa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sporting Buceo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mihnea Berceanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 76th minute Laffitte Rioz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demetrio Busillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87thth minute of the game Laffitte Rioz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Unión CF's Demetrio Busillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Demetrio Busillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laffitte Rioz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laffitte Rioz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laffitte Rioz scored 2-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Demetrio Busillo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sporting Buceo succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Real Unión CF had controlled the match.
