But to his dismay, Gergely Menyhért quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Zoltán Szepes made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Kenneth Jelsby sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to RoBen FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Reinhard Garrild hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gergely Menyhért in the 16th minute of play forced RoBen FC's goalkeeper Arnfred Engersløv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 played minutes RoBen FC got a freekick which was hit by Asgar Lehnsbo. Arnfred Engersløv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szabolcs Kerekes, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, Asgar Lehnsbo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 played minutes, PMFC 2018's Árpád Havas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnfred Engersløv came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PMFC 2018 reached it. In the 26th minute, RoBen FC's Mark Vørsing dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Arnfred Engersløv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szabolcs Kerekes, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute of the match PMFC 2018 got a corner. RoBen FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gergely Menyhért ran over to the corner to take the kick. 33 minutes into the game, Asgar Lehnsbo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RoBen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PMFC 2018 the free kick. After a rather tough play, RoBen FC's Asgar Lehnsbo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Arnfred Engersløv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gergely Menyhért in the 37th minute of play. Zoltán Szepes was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Asgar Lehnsbo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Asgar Lehnsbo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Zoltán Szepes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kenneth Jelsby in the 42nd minute. With a little luck, PMFC 2018's Zoltán Szepes got control of the ball when Kenneth Jelsby tried to sneak it across the goal line.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Szabolcs Kerekes to strike the kick off in the second half. István Lencse's late challenge caught a RoBen FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. István Lencse helped the player get up and apologised. After 68 played minutes RoBen FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnfred Jerløv. After 70 minutes, Szabolcs Kerekes made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. RoBen FC's Arnfred Engersløv tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gergely Menyhért in the 74th minute of play forced RoBen FC's goalkeeper Arnfred Engersløv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RoBen FC's Arnfred Engersløv played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gergely Menyhért in the 75th minute of play. After a rather tough play, PMFC 2018's Balázs Józsa got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in RoBen FC's zone, Szabolcs Kerekes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnfred Engersløv came out of the goal and Szabolcs Kerekes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute Gergely Menyhért shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnfred Engersløv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Szabolcs Kerekes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnfred Engersløv was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. The referee felt a red card was in order, 93 minutes into the game, when Arnfred Jerløv put in a rough tackle. After 94 played minutes RoBen FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnfred Jerløv. After having played for 96 minutes, Szabolcs Kerekes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PMFC 2018's supporters crossed their fingers, but Szabolcs Kerekes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The PMFC 2018 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing PMFC 2018 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
