Ruben Esdras made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ruben Esdras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laffitte Rioz, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Sporting Buceo's Angelo Carballal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Buceo from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Sporting Buceo booed when La Guardia Imperial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Pagomari didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruben Esdras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartuelo Masferrer, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute Laffitte Rioz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Esdras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bartuelo Masferrer scored 0-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruben Esdras, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of La Guardia Imperial booed when Sporting Buceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilmar Cuadrillero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruben Esdras came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Buceo's Bartuelo Masferrer. But to his dismay, Bartuelo Masferrer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartuelo Masferrer in the 44th minute of play forced La Guardia Imperial's goalkeeper Ruben Esdras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruben Esdras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nardo Tuo, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Ruben Esdras didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kismi Tojedo went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eduardo Honesto to strike the kick off in the second half. Ruben Esdras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laffitte Rioz in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kismi Tojedo in the 59th minute of play forced La Guardia Imperial's goalkeeper Ruben Esdras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guido Arizabal charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guido Arizabal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 played minutes Sporting Buceo got a freekick which was hit by Guido Arizabal. With a little luck, La Guardia Imperial's Ruben Esdras got control of the ball when Nardo Tuo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the La Guardia Imperial defense, Nardo Tuo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruben Esdras. The La Guardia Imperial fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruben Esdras should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laffitte Rioz in the 73rd minute of play forced La Guardia Imperial's goalkeeper Ruben Esdras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 minutes, Eustaquio Lluques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Guardia Imperial and the Sporting Buceo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to La Guardia Imperial getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Eustaquio Lluques hit a great ball. Nardo Tuo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Ruben Esdras made a huge save. Ruben Esdras made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laffitte Rioz in the 81st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alonzo Regis during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, La Guardia Imperial's Alonzo Regis got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Nardo Tuo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ruben Esdras. That made the score 0-6 in the 84 minute of play. Ruben Esdras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartuelo Masferrer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruben Esdras came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Buceo's Bartuelo Masferrer. But to his dismay, Bartuelo Masferrer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. In the 93rd minute, Nardo Tuo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruben Esdras was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. 97 minutes into the match, La Guardia Imperial's goal looked a bit too open when Laffitte Rioz came free, but Ruben Esdras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nardo Tuo came free with the goalkeeper in the 98th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ruben Esdras could save by the left post.
