The FC GURZUN players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Real Unión CF were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augustin Gorjanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cătălin Dăianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilazki Serrana, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When Cristinel Trapcea fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC GURZUN's protests and gave Cristinel Trapcea a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC GURZUN getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Cătălin Dăianu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mihnea Berceanu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 93 minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Mihnea Berceanu notched a goal, 1-7, to the right of FC GURZUN's Cătălin Dăianu. Cătălin Dăianu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Real Unión CF played a much better game than FC GURZUN and deserved their victory. The FC GURZUN players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
