Mayhem Sharks's Marcelo Alves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Mayhem Sharks from getting a goal against them. Felippe Guerra was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovanni Linhares in the 14th minute of play forced Mayhem Sharks's goalkeeper Marcelo Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Vágner Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Rafael Passos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Alves was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Belo Academy's Rubens Félix dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Mayhem Sharks's Ton Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Breno Rodrigues fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belo Academy's protests and gave Breno Rodrigues a yellow card for diving instead. 39 minutes into the match, Rubens Félix notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Mayhem Sharks's Marcelo Alves. Marcelo Alves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner Sergipano in the 47th minute of play forced Mayhem Sharks's goalkeeper Marcelo Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vágner Sergipano was the one to do the kick off. Marcelo Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Passos in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Belo Academy's Felippe Guerra got a free kick in the 54th minute. Marcelo Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vágner Sergipano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Mayhem Sharks's goal looked a bit too open when Vágner Sergipano came free, but Marcelo Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rubens Félix in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Alves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovanni Linhares in the 63rd minute of play forced Mayhem Sharks's goalkeeper Marcelo Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Vágner Sergipano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Alves was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Mayhem Sharks's Marcelo Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vágner Sergipano in the 68th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mayhem Sharks's Ton Torres got a free kick in the 70th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dito Lopes during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Mayhem Sharks getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Dito Lopes hit a great ball. Marcelo Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubens Félix in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mayhem Sharks's Dito Lopes got a free kick in the 77th minute. Geovanni Linhares took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Alves. Marcelo Alves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 84 minutes into the game, Rubens Félix was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belo Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mayhem Sharks the free kick. A collision led to Belo Academy getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Rubens Félix hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the match, Belo Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Rony Meira came free, but Carlos Augusto Eger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner Sergipano in the 96th minute of play forced Mayhem Sharks's goalkeeper Marcelo Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
