Frederico de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilazki Serrana, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Frederico de Salles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ilazki Serrana's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Demetrio Busillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrão Arce in the 44th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Pedrão Arce in the 47th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ilazki Serrana to strike the kick off in the second half. Frederico de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zosimo Villalaud in the 54th minute of play. Pedrão Arce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Demetrio Busillo made a huge save. In the 61st minute, Ilazki Serrana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Unión CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Alan Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demetrio Busillo having to interfere. Real Unión CF's Demetrio Busillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Real Unión CF from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the match, Barbie Doll United U23's goal looked a bit too open when Ilazki Serrana came free, but Frederico de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Eusebio Zaldierna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
