The referee ignored RoBen FC's protests and gave Reinhard Garrild a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes RoBen FC got a freekick which was hit by Reinhard Garrild. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustinian Drăghincescu in the 6th minute of play forced RoBen FC's goalkeeper Arnfred Engersløv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as RoBen FC's Bøje Derning slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cătălin Dăianu. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustinian Drăghincescu in the 14th minute of play forced RoBen FC's goalkeeper Arnfred Engersløv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC GURZUN's Cătălin Dăianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Borved in the 17th minute of play. Bøje Derning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Dăianu having to interfere. RoBen FC's Kenneth Jelsby got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FC GURZUN getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Mugurel Ştefănoiu hit a great ball. RoBen FC's Kenneth Jelsby couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 31st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC GURZUN. Kenneth Jelsby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Dăianu having to interfere. In the 34th minute of the match, Ricardo Borved tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cătălin Dăianu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cătălin Dăianu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricardo Borved went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. RoBen FC's Arnfred Engersløv played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Gorjanu in the 38th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristinel Trapcea in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnfred Engersløv saved RoBen FC from getting behind.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iustinian Drăghincescu was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Bøje Derning got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnfred Engersløv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustinian Drăghincescu in the 58th minute of play. Cătălin Dăianu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Borved's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. 63 minutes into the match, RoBen FC's goalkeeper Arnfred Engersløv had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iustinian Drăghincescu. RoBen FC's Kenneth Jelsby got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th match minute, FC GURZUN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Horhoianu to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iustinian Drăghincescu got free with Arnfred Engersløv in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnfred Engersløv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristinel Trapcea in the 68th minute of the match. Ricardo Borved blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cătălin Dăianu having to make a save. In the 79th minute Ricardo Borved shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Dăianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iustinian Drăghincescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Arnfred Engersløv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Borved in the 85th minute of play forced FC GURZUN's goalkeeper Cătălin Dăianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When RoBen FC's Ricardo Borved in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC GURZUN's goalie prevented a goal.
