La Guardia Imperial's Ruben Esdras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominguez Muniz in the 11th minute of play. Zosimo Villalaud took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruben Esdras. Ruben Esdras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 18 played minutes Real Unión CF got a freekick which was hit by Lu Hai Cheng. 24 minutes into the match, Mihnea Berceanu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of La Guardia Imperial's Ruben Esdras. Real Unión CF played a much better game than La Guardia Imperial and deserved their victory. The La Guardia Imperial players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
