Teodoro Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th match minute, Belo Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breno Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Augusto Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustinian Drăghincescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Carlos Augusto Eger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristinel Trapcea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Vágner Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Dăianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC GURZUN's zone, Rubens Félix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cătălin Dăianu came out of the goal and Rubens Félix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 18 minutes, Rubens Félix mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belo Academy and the FC GURZUN players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC GURZUN booed when Belo Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubens Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 played minutes Belo Academy got a freekick which was hit by Rubens Félix. After some careless play in the Belo Academy defense, Iustinian Drăghincescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Augusto Eger. The Belo Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Augusto Eger should have stopped the shot. Cătălin Dăianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vágner Sergipano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Belo Academy were furious when Teodoro Reis was red carded, 31 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Belo Academy's Teodoro Reis got a free kick in the 32nd minute. If Vágner Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Augusto Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustinian Drăghincescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Rubens Félix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belo Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Rubens Félix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cătălin Dăianu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Rubens Félix got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rubens Félix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th match minute, Belo Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vágner Sergipano to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iustinian Drăghincescu made a kick off. Carlos Augusto Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustinian Drăghincescu in the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Ferdinand Brănescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute Vágner Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Dăianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mugurel Ştefănoiu hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 72nd match minute, Belo Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubens Félix to maneuver through the defense. Belo Academy's Carlos Augusto Eger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Belo Academy from getting a goal against them. Geovanni Linhares succeeded in the game's 78th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Rubens Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Dăianu having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Vágner Sergipano notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FC GURZUN's Cătălin Dăianu. Cătălin Dăianu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carlos Augusto Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustin Gorjanu in the 92nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iustinian Drăghincescu got free with Carlos Augusto Eger in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC GURZUN were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
