The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Mayhem Sharks got a freekick which was hit by Dagoberto Dantas. Marcelo Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristinel Trapcea in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Edgard Neto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC GURZUN's Luca Horhoianu got a free kick in the 8th minute. The audience was convinced that Douglas Trigo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cătălin Dăianu was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 10th minute, Cristinel Trapcea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Alves was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Cristinel Trapcea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Iustinian Drăghincescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC GURZUN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 25 minutes into the game, Remus Sinulescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC GURZUN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mayhem Sharks the free kick. A collision led to FC GURZUN getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Remus Sinulescu hit a great ball. When Mayhem Sharks's Douglas Trigo in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC GURZUN's goalie prevented a goal. When Edgard Neto fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mayhem Sharks's protests and gave Edgard Neto a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mayhem Sharks getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Edgard Neto hit a great ball. Marcelo Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristinel Trapcea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mayhem Sharks's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Iustinian Drăghincescu scored to the left of an out of position Marcelo Alves, making the score, 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as FC GURZUN's Cristinel Trapcea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcelo Alves. That made the score 4-0 after 40 minutes of play. Cătălin Dăianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Trigo in the 45th minute of play. Marcelo Alves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iustinian Drăghincescu in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Douglas Trigo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rony Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Cătălin Dăianu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Mayhem Sharks's Douglas Trigo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cătălin Dăianu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Rony Meira kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Iustinian Drăghincescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC GURZUN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. After 76 played minutes Mayhem Sharks got a freekick which was hit by Dito Lopes. 77 minutes into the match, Mayhem Sharks's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Gorjanu came free, but Marcelo Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristinel Trapcea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Horhoianu in the 81st minute of the match. Mayhem Sharks's Marcelo Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustinian Drăghincescu in the 88th minute of play. In the 93rd minute Augustin Gorjanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC GURZUN fully deserved thier win.
