He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Belo Academy reached it. A collision led to Mayhem Sharks getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Laerte Trigo hit a great ball. Marcelo Alves came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Belo Academy's Vágner Sergipano. But to his dismay, Vágner Sergipano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Mayhem Sharks's Douglas Trigo got a free kick in the 31st minute. Geovanni Linhares took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Alves. Marcelo Alves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 35th minute Virgílio Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Alves didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Belo Academy's Vágner Sergipano shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. Marcelo Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanni Linhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Geovanni Linhares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belo Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

54 minutes into the game, Virgílio Leal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Marcelo Alves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Douglas Trigo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mayhem Sharks's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas Trigo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Renato Dracena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Belo Academy's Virgílio Leal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcelo Alves. That made the score 0-7 after 60 minutes of play. 63 minutes into the game, Virgílio Leal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcelo Alves. Virgílio Leal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. 67 minutes into the match Vágner Sergipano climbed in front of goal and pressed up 0-9 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Marcelo Alves. Marcelo Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgílio Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laerte Trigo hit a great ball. Virgílio Leal missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 96 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Marcelo Alves right hand side. When the match was over Belo Academy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mayhem Sharks throughout the match.
