Bruno Hermes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MORPH. Bruno Hermes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Eguen in the 8th minute. Melquiades Mambru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacek Bondel in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Eguen in the 42nd minute of play forced Huracán Varsovia's goalkeeper Bruno Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Huracán Varsovia were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after MORPH's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dobromir Pahucki took the corner. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Eguen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Melquiades Mambru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacek Bondel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Lano in the 67th minute of play forced Huracán Varsovia's goalkeeper Bruno Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Ambrosio Estevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Hermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lu fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huracán Varsovia's protests and gave Lu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Huracán Varsovia getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Lu hit a great ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Isidro Lano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MORPH's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidro Lano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teo Paez kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th match minute, MORPH was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommi Van Der Meren to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, MORPH's goal looked a bit too open when He Di Quan came free, but Melquiades Mambru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Carel Rokeloos came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the MORPH fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carel Rokeloos couldn't finish the play. Bruno Hermes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Lano in the 86th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that He Di Quan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melquiades Mambru was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. He Di Quan scored 1-3 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melquiades Mambru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Huracán Varsovia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Huracán Varsovia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
