Válbson de Alcântara started the match with the kick off. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Benedykt Lanczak got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Válbson de Alcântara made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 9thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Onur-Recep Kıvrak would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lu Ladron was slow to take the kick. During this time Motta Futebol Clube's players had a chance to rest. Artur Sabóia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Onur-Recep Kıvrak made a huge save. 14 minutes into the game, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Benedykt Lanczak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aírton de Lima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Onur-Recep Kıvrak made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Dudu Hermes sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the match, Motta Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Mikayıl Malişov came free, but Aírton de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artur Sabóia got free with Onur-Recep Kıvrak in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aírton de Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedykt Lanczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 31 minutes into the game, Benedykt Lanczak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Aírton de Lima was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Motta Futebol Clube's Válbson de Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aírton de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedykt Lanczak in the 35th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Motta Futebol Clube's zone, Mikayıl Malişov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aírton de Lima came out of the goal and Mikayıl Malişov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th match minute, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedykt Lanczak to maneuver through the defense. Aírton de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedykt Lanczak in the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedykt Lanczak in the 44th minute of play forced Motta Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Aírton de Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedykt Lanczak to make the kick off. Ahmet Harun Siraceddin replaced Mikayıl Malişov. Onur-Recep Kıvrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dudu Hermes in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armandinho Carvalho in the 73rd minute of play forced Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goalkeeper Onur-Recep Kıvrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armandinho Carvalho in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Onur-Recep Kıvrak saved Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ from getting behind. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Armandinho Carvalho sped through Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Onur-Recep Kıvrak. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armandinho Carvalho in the 78th minute of play forced Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goalkeeper Onur-Recep Kıvrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dudu Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Onur-Recep Kıvrak having to interfere. In the 85th minute Armandinho Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Onur-Recep Kıvrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
