Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carmelo Gorka in the 16th minute. The corner ended in Carmelo Gorka almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Azul Y Plomo's Zacarias Cabrero did a great save. Hector-Luis Arzolas short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Rudolf Meulman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rudolf Meulman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Latif Biçim, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Rudolf Meulman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Latif Biçim's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Azul Y Plomo's zone, Zé Tola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Cabrero came out of the goal and Zé Tola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The throw-in from Manolo Area in the 70th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Arjen Robben. 70 minutes into the match, Azul Y Plomo's goalkeeper Zacarias Cabrero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Tola. Edmund Tomiczek kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Azul Y Plomo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Olimpo de Bahia Blanca:s goal. The referee gave Olimpo de Bahia Blanca a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Eduardo Macías threw the ball into play from the sideline. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Teodoro Cisco quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Rudolf Meulman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector-Luis Arzola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rudolf Meulman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Navarro Rojas in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
