After 9 minutes PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ronaldo Cosme who took care of the corner kick. Adrianinho Meirelles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nils-Emil Ekström having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Adrianinho Meirelles put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nils-Emil Ekström. In the 17th match minute, ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boniel Sovera to maneuver through the defense. Vasco Goycochea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute of the game Dedê Alves made a throw-in which Ronaldo Batistuta played forward. Adrianinho Meirelles took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nils-Emil Ekström. Nils-Emil Ekström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Adrianinho Meirelles kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nils-Emil Ekström. That made the score 3-0 in the 37 minute of play. If Nikolay Dudevski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Adrianinho Meirelles got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ booed when PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válter Bueno didn't get a good kick on the ball. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Nils-Emil Ekström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrianinho Meirelles in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flavinho Mandrak made a kick off. Dedê Alves got a throw-in 54 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ronaldo Batistuta. Adrianinho Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nils-Emil Ekström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrianinho Meirelles in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Dedê Alves got a free kick in the 57th minute. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Mai Bin Kuan was substituted for Adrianinho Meirelles. Carlos Ancelotti replaced Ronaldo Cosme. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Amauri Goiano was substituted for Válter Bueno. Nils-Emil Ekström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mai Bin Kuan in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Mai Bin Kuan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nils-Emil Ekström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Luiz Fábio Galvão was substituted for Ronaldo Batistuta. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mai Bin Kuan in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nils-Emil Ekström saved PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- from getting behind. In the 90th minute, Mai Bin Kuan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nils-Emil Ekström was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. 95 minutes into the match, Mai Bin Kuan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nils-Emil Ekström. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mai Bin Kuan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. There was no doubt that ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ were the better team. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
