Augusto Consalvi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Mieszko Karanowski made a huge save. Mieszko Karanowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kılıçalp Akgün, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kılıçalp Akgün took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mieszko Karanowski. Mieszko Karanowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Marzagão's zone, Augusto Consalvi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mieszko Karanowski came out of the goal and Augusto Consalvi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mieszko Karanowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kılıçalp Akgün, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. If Domingos Santiago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Santiago in the 42nd minute of play forced Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER's goalkeeper João Adolfo Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mieszko Karanowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marino Montrelle in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
