The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Sotiris Iordanakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute, Juarês Pontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 9th minute Boguslaw Makarewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Relyn Futebol Clube's Gino Velasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Relyn Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Vinhas in the 18th minute of play forced Mestre GG's goalkeeper Remigiusz Paciuszko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gino Velasco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benson Beverley in the 22nd minute. Gino Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilton do Valle in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Relyn Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Qu Jun Fan to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boguslaw Makarewicz in the 26th minute of play forced Relyn Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Gino Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Wilton do Valle threw the ball into play from the sideline. Relyn Futebol Clube's Gabriel Vinhas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 32 minutes into the game, Relyn Futebol Clube's Gabriel Vinhas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remigiusz Paciuszko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Mestre GG's Álvaro Paraíba got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 42 minutes, Boguslaw Makarewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mestre GG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boguslaw Makarewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boguslaw Makarewicz was the one to do the kick off. Michael Åkerström kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Raimundo Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Relyn Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Faria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigiusz Paciuszko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 61 minutes into the game, Sotiris Iordanakos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mestre GG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Relyn Futebol Clube the free kick. After 61 played minutes Mestre GG got a freekick which was hit by Sotiris Iordanakos. Relyn Futebol Clube's Genaro Valdemoro was substituted for Qu Jun Fan. Relyn Futebol Clube made a substitution. Ademar Meirelles replaced Michael Åkerström. After a rather tough play, Mestre GG's Sotiris Iordanakos got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Gino Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Paraíba in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Relyn Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Benson Beverley came free, but Gino Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Gabriel Vinhas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Remigiusz Paciuszko. Gabriel Vinhas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Mestre GG's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gabriel Vinhas 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. Relyn Futebol Clube's Gino Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorginho Garcia in the 82nd minute of play. Mestre GG's Ximenes Murieta got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The throw-in from Sotiris Iordanakos in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Relyn Futebol Clube's Juarês Pontes. Relyn Futebol Clube's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
