The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mieszko Karanowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mieszko Karanowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Elija, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute Chelsicha were awarded a corner. Victor Velloso went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Chelsicha's Bebeto Maia to fire away a dangerous shot which Mieszko Karanowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Marzagão's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Elija came free, but Mieszko Karanowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Domingos Santiago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marzagão's Mieszko Karanowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Elija in the 30th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murillo do Valle in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caetano da Silveira saved Chelsicha from getting behind. After 34 played minutes Marzagão got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Alves. Ciro Elija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 35th minute of the match, Ciro Elija tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mieszko Karanowski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marzagão's goalkeeper Mieszko Karanowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Chelsicha getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Jeoffrey Airpoel hit a great ball. Alexandre Alves's late challenge caught a Chelsicha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Alves helped the player get up and apologised. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Murillo do Valle was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Chelsicha's Ciro Elija nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mieszko Karanowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Bebeto Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. João Paulo de Carvalho hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Ciro Elija managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelsicha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Elija was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Chelsicha's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Santiago came free, but Caetano da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chelsicha's attentive Bebeto Maia managed to snatch the ball when Alexandre Alves made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. Mieszko Karanowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Elija in the 66th minute of the match. Caetano da Silveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Murillo do Valle in the 67th minute. Marzagão's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eliseu Fantini in the 69th minute. After taking down the ball on Marzagão's corner Eliseu Fantini fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Caetano da Silveira quite easily take care of the ball. Mieszko Karanowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Elija in the 70th minute of play. After 75 minutes of play Marzagão's Alexandre Alves was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Marzagão getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Alexandre Alves hit a great ball. Marzagão made a substitution. Jânio Faria replaced Cezar Martins. Alexandre Alves hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Elija in the 81st minute of play forced Marzagão's goalkeeper Mieszko Karanowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute Ciro Elija shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mieszko Karanowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 minutes of play, Chelsicha's Ciro Elija made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mieszko Karanowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mieszko Karanowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Elija, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Ciro Elija left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chelsicha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Marzagão's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
