In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Oso Amezaga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gabriel Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Oso Amezaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Vinhas in the 21st minute of play. Oso Amezaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 minutes C.A. GUAYACO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gabriel Vinhas who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Relyn Futebol Clube's corner Gabriel Vinhas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Oso Amezaga quite easily take care of the ball. Gabriel Vinhas might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oso Amezaga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mendoza Joseph to make the kick off. The supporters of Relyn Futebol Clube booed when C.A. GUAYACO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Caborredondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Caborredondo made in the 87th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luis Rechani. In the 89th minute, Relyn Futebol Clube's Gabriel Vinhas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oso Amezaga. Oso Amezaga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. Gabriel Vinhas took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oso Amezaga. Oso Amezaga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. Gabriel Vinhas in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Oso Amezaga, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Relyn Futebol Clube walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
