Leroy Antunez ran over to the corner to take the kick. Roman Shantala came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by A.D. Alcorcón's Belo Alvarez. But to his dismay, Belo Alvarez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After taking down the ball on Alpachiri AFC's corner Cido Araújo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Maurino Serena quite easily take care of the ball. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Txilar in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Santiago Txilar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurino Serena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alpachiri AFC's Laureano Acuña quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leroy Antunez, made in the 25th minute of the game. Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Savier in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Belo Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Shantala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Manolo Bacete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Santiago Txilar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurino Serena was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Esteban Vadillos kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Roman Shantala stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Belo Alvarez's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Belo Alvarez put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Roman Shantala. After 44 played minutes A.D. Alcorcón got a freekick which was hit by Manolo Bacete. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Belo Alvarez to strike the kick off in the second half. If Santiago Txilar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Shantala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manolo Bacete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Bartolome in the 58th minute of the match. Maurino Serena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ladislao Savier's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. The audience was convinced that Ladislao Savier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurino Serena was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patricio Bartolome in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurino Serena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roman Shantala had great luck who in the 69thth minute grab hold of the ball when Manolo Bacete from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. A.D. Alcorcón's Laurin Mangas was substituted for Delmar Mayor. Roman Shantala stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manolo Bacete's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. A.D. Alcorcón made a substitution. Isaac Ortiz replaced Belo Alvarez. Maurino Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Bartolome, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Maurino Serena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ladislao Savier went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the A.D. Alcorcón defense, Santiago Txilar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurino Serena. The A.D. Alcorcón fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurino Serena should have stopped the shot. Despite being the better team, Alpachiri AFC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
