An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Cifuentes in the 5th minute of play forced Portus Ganda's goalkeeper Tony Vanbuyten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tony Vanbuyten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Cifuentes, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Taltum FC were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Portus Ganda's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcelo Cavenaghi took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Norbert Dabrowski managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Zhang Hao Qing successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A throw-in in the 14th minute of the game was made by Florian Mondrowski with Mike Hoeybroeck as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Taltum FC's Zhang Hao Qing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Jacinto in the 15th minute of play. Florian Mondrowski made in the 24th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Mike Hoeybroeck. In the 25th minute of the match, Enrique Jacinto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zhang Hao Qing saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 29 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Jacinto came free, but Zhang Hao Qing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norbert Dabrowski charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norbert Dabrowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Portus Ganda getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Wagner Mamakin hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Cifuentes in the 40th minute of play forced Portus Ganda's goalkeeper Tony Vanbuyten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tony Vanbuyten didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavio Cifuentes went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Tony Vanbuyten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Cifuentes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portus Ganda's goalkeeper Tony Vanbuyten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th minute Flavio Cifuentes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Vanbuyten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The Portus Ganda supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Taltum FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Taltum FC.
