After 3 minutes of play, Hoberg United's Cintya Palacios made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. George Forsyth was left in no man's land by his defense there! 12 minutes into the match, Hoberg United's goal looked a bit too open when Tulio Andinyach came free, but Dida Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Hoberg United's Dida Martins got control of the ball when Enrique Cassaretto tried to sneak it across the goal line. George Forsyth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cintya Palacios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cintya Palacios took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised George Forsyth. George Forsyth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. CD Municipal's George Forsyth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balázs Sebes in the 24th minute of play. Randy Bastard made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by CD Municipal's Tulio Andinyach. Enrique Cassaretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Enrique Cassaretto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dida Martins firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 41st minute Balázs Sebes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Forsyth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Balázs Sebes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hoberg United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Balázs Sebes to make the kick off. Enrique Cassaretto scored 2-4 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dida Martins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Hoberg United's zone, Enrique Cassaretto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Martins came out of the goal and Enrique Cassaretto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CD Municipal's George Forsyth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save CD Municipal from getting a goal against them. CD Municipal made a substitution. Ryota Miyagi replaced Enrique Cassaretto. CD Municipal made a substitution.
