In the 15thth minute of the game Manolo Bacete who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chanchos's Simon Ribeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Martxot in the 20th minute of play. Tommy Gun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Maurino Serena made a huge save. In the 23rd minute, Manolo Bacete got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Simon Ribeiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Esteban Vadillos went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 31 minutes into the game, Manolo Bacete cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Simon Ribeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Simon Ribeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manolo Bacete, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Chanchos's goal looked a bit too open when Belo Alvarez came free, but Simon Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alcorcón supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing A.D. Alcorcón would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
