The crowd rose to their feet as Hoberg United's Cintya Palacios slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of George Forsyth. That made the score 1-1 after 16 minutes of play. Dida Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 18th minute of the match. George Forsyth came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Hoberg United's Cintya Palacios. But to his dismay, Cintya Palacios quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Hoberg United's Dida Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 25th minute of play. George Forsyth made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Cintya Palacios sent off a good shot on target. If Balázs Sebes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hoberg United were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after CD Municipal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaroslaw Teofila took the corner. After 44 minutes, Randy Bastard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hoberg United and the CD Municipal players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hoberg United's Randy Bastard got a free kick in the 45th minute. After 46 minutes of play Hoberg United's Randy Bastard was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Hoberg United getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Randy Bastard hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Dida Martins was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Enrique Cassaretto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Enrique Cassaretto really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Dida Martins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrique Cassaretto went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Cassaretto got free with Dida Martins in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dida Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Moise in the 69th minute of the match. George Forsyth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cintya Palacios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaroslaw Teofila hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Hoberg United's goalkeeper Dida Martins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oalo Dean. In the 87th match minute, CD Municipal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Ramon to maneuver through the defense. CD Municipal's Oalo Dean was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 90th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 93 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Cintya Palacios came free, but George Forsyth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cintya Palacios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Forsyth having to interfere.
