Tony Vanbuyten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Concetto Mascitti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute Concetto Mascitti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Vanbuyten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 minutes Portus Ganda's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tommy Gun who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Alain Ramsey heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 15th minute Enrique Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jüri Djorkaeff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Ribeiro having to interfere. If Güralp Ergüleç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Portus Ganda's Tony Vanbuyten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto Mascitti in the 20th minute of play. Enrique Jacinto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Simon Ribeiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 31st minute Rafael Martxot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Vanbuyten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Martxot in the 33rd minute of play forced Portus Ganda's goalkeeper Tony Vanbuyten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Concetto Mascitti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Portus Ganda were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Chanchos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jüri Djorkaeff took the corner. Portus Ganda's Jüri Djorkaeff was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Simon Ribeiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Jacinto in the 43rd minute of play forced Chanchos's goalkeeper Simon Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tommy Gun to strike the kick off in the second half. Jüri Djorkaeff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tommy Gun came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tony Vanbuyten could save by the left post. 57 minutes into the match, Chanchos's goal looked a bit too open when Jüri Djorkaeff came free, but Simon Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Jüri Djorkaeff ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simon Ribeiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Simon Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ye Yang Ao in the 62nd minute of the match. Simon Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Güralp Ergüleç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simon Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Jacinto in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute Concetto Mascitti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Vanbuyten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony Vanbuyten stood somewhat misplaced when Concetto Mascitti came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 66 minute. A collision led to Portus Ganda getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ye Yang Ao hit a great ball. The supporters of Chanchos booed when Portus Ganda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ye Yang Ao didn't get a good kick on the ball. Portus Ganda's Güralp Ergüleç got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Chanchos's goal looked a bit too open when Jüri Djorkaeff came free, but Simon Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Jacinto in the 77th minute of play. Rafael Martxot hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Jacinto in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Ribeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Simon Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mike Hoeybroeck in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Jacinto in the 85th minute of play forced Chanchos's goalkeeper Simon Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Jacinto in the 88th minute of play forced Chanchos's goalkeeper Simon Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Ribeiro came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Portus Ganda's Jüri Djorkaeff.
