FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ciprian Gaiță was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 武鸿 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Petre Bogătan got a free kick in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, 龚桦榕 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ovidiu Marin. FC Cosula-BTF-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 龚桦榕 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Ovidiu Marin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 龚桦榕 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aurelian Giurcă hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute 龚桦榕 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Cosula-BTF- made a substitution. Vintilă Bădescu replaced Ciprian Gaiță. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Aurel Lăceanu was substituted for Petre Bogătan.
