After taking down the ball on Boedo Athletic.'s corner Vladimiro Llorenc fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rune Jarstein quite easily take care of the ball. Victoriano Lertxun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 8th minute of play. But to his dismay, Wilhelm Nienhaus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a little luck, Boedo Athletic.'s Victoriano Lertxun got control of the ball when Zé Paulo da Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line.
