Andy Cole started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Novaes in the 3rd minute of play forced Floresta Negra FC's goalkeeper Egun Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Bernardo Novaes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egun Pais. Floresta Negra FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardo Novaes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Lokon Pøhl hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Bernardo Novaes made a precise shot to the right of Egun Pais. Floresta Negra FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andy Cole got free with Tomáš Houdek in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute Bernardo Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egun Pais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Bernardo Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lex Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Novaes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egun Pais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Lex Academy's Tomáš Houdek got control of the ball when Lokon Pøhl tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Lex Academy's Bernardo Novaes in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tomáš Houdek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Cole in the 40th minute of play. Gernando Rocha hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Bernardo Novaes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

With his leg Egun Pais managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Lex Academy's Miloslav Krupička fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 58 minutes into the match, Lex Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Lokon Pøhl came free, but Tomáš Houdek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Bernardo Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egun Pais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Floresta Negra FC's Egun Pais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Novaes in the 61st minute of play. Floresta Negra FC's Jardel Lewandowski was substituted for Andy Cole. Lex Academy's Josef Kožíšek was substituted for Radomir Wyrostek. In the 70th match minute, Floresta Negra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Moura to maneuver through the defense. Lex Academy made a substitution. Floresta Negra FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lokon Pøhl in the 82nd minute. Tomáš Houdek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lokon Pøhl in the 84th minute of the match. Clemente Moura hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lex Academy had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
