Witomir Witkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32ndth minute of the game Carmelo Ibias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JAGIELLONIA's Witomir Witkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matias Matute was a little too slow when Fabian Pryputnicki got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-0. Witomir Witkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Ibias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41stth minute of the game Guipuzkoa Urguia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JAGIELLONIA's Witomir Witkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guipuzkoa Urguia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Witomir Witkowski having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carmelo Ibias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
