Quim Pedrosa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th match minute, Petro de Luanda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quim Pedrosa to maneuver through the defense. If Marquinhos Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th match minute, SRL FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geraldo Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of SRL FC booed when Petro de Luanda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toni Caetano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quim Pedrosa hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Amauri Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuca Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Quim Pedrosa was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 21 minutes had been played. If Amauri Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernani Duarte hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Petro de Luanda's David Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquinhos Veiga in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Petro de Luanda's goal looked a bit too open when Marquinhos Veiga came free, but David Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuca Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 46thth minute of the game Marquinhos Veiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Petro de Luanda's David Sampaio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marquinhos Veiga to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, SRL FC's goalkeeper Acácio Dionísio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toni Caetano. SRL FC's Acácio Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lopo Carvoeiro in the 59th minute of play. SRL FC's Acácio Dionísio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save SRL FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Geraldo Siqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SRL FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Geraldo Siqueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Sampaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute, Geraldo Siqueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Sampaio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Marquinhos Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. SRL FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marquinhos Veiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Sampaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Petro de Luanda getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Lopo Carvoeiro hit a great ball. When Toni Caetano came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Petro de Luanda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toni Caetano couldn't finish the play. Petro de Luanda's David Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuca Paraense in the 88th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Petro de Luanda's goal looked a bit too open when Marquinhos Veiga came free, but David Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SRL FC's zone, Lopo Carvoeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Acácio Dionísio came out of the goal and Lopo Carvoeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SRL FC had played much better football throughout.
