Witomir Witkowski was a little too slow when Severo Jordy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 2-0. The JAGIELLONIA fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when JAGIELLONIA's Fabian Pryputnicki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amancio Cambranes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Salto AFC's Gregorio Tonete got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Witomir Witkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Cambranes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anibal Fix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Pryputnicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Salto AFC had played much better football throughout.
