Nenad Kitanovski's late challenge caught a Salto AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nenad Kitanovski helped the player get up and apologised. After 8 played minutes Cecchi Gori FC got a freekick which was hit by Nenad Kitanovski. Andon Slavev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Tonete having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Viviano during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 played minutes Salto AFC got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Viviano. Saško Nestorov took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gregorio Tonete. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Bernabe Garaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salto AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernabe Garaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bora Petkov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bora Petkov came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Salto AFC's Amancio Cambranes. But to his dismay, Amancio Cambranes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Saško Nestorov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Tonete having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, Salto AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Lauro to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Cecchi Gori FC's Burim Damjanovič got a free kick in the 45th minute. Andon Slavev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Gregorio Tonete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andon Slavev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Saško Nestorov struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Gregorio Tonete didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cecchi Gori FC. Salto AFC's Bernabe Garaona managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ostoja Georgiev in the 57 minute of the game. 57 minutes into the match, Cecchi Gori FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Jordy came free, but Bora Petkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andon Slavev kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Severo Jordy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bora Petkov. Cecchi Gori FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severo Jordy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Bernabe Garaona struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Bora Petkov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salto AFC. A collision led to Cecchi Gori FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Zvonimir Trajcevski hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cecchi Gori FC's zone, Amancio Cambranes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bora Petkov came out of the goal and Amancio Cambranes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bora Petkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Pirro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Cecchi Gori FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ruse Mateski hit a great ball. Cecchi Gori FC's Ratomir Pančevski was substituted for Andon Slavev. A collision led to Salto AFC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Bernabe Garaona hit a great ball. Bora Petkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Jordy in the 90th minute of play. After 96 played minutes Salto AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Mercurio. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Salto AFC had played much better football throughout.
