The audience thought a goal was coming when Baiscend Frankson got free with Adalberto Barral in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gill Holt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Adalberto Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Baiscend Frankson sped through Spartacus FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adalberto Barral. In the 18th minute, Endre Kun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Róbert Ábrahám hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Donavon Walker was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. Limerick AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 26th match minute, Spartacus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Endre Kun to maneuver through the defense. After 27 played minutes Spartacus FC got a freekick which was hit by Ádám Laczkó. 29 minutes into the game, Baiscend Frankson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Limerick AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spartacus FC the free kick. Baiscend Frankson kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Quinn McBjarton came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Spartacus FC's Álmos Fenyvesi. But to his dismay, Álmos Fenyvesi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Aubrey Robinson kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Limerick AFC's Aubrey Robinson got a free kick in the 40th minute. Baiscend Frankson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 played minutes Spartacus FC got a freekick which was hit by Ádám Laczkó. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcell Tokody stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adalberto Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gill Holt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Donavon Walker sped through Spartacus FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adalberto Barral. In the 56thth minute of the game Baiscend Frankson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spartacus FC's Adalberto Barral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 宋荣延 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcell Tokody fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quinn McBjarton having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Marcell Tokody got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Adalberto Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baiscend Frankson, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Limerick AFC's attack was well implemented in the 74th minute, but when Baiscend Frankson was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. When Marcell Tokody came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Spartacus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcell Tokody couldn't finish the play. When Róbert Ábrahám fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spartacus FC's protests and gave Róbert Ábrahám a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes Spartacus FC got a freekick which was hit by Róbert Ábrahám. Adalberto Barral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baiscend Frankson's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd match minute, Spartacus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márk Sipos to maneuver through the defense. Limerick AFC's attentive Pearson McLian managed to snatch the ball when Ádám Laczkó made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. Quinn McBjarton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álmos Fenyvesi in the 93rd minute of play. Pearson McLian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Limerick AFC had won after a very even match.
