Quinn McBjarton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Limerick AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Njegoš Radman came free, but Quinn McBjarton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Baiscend Frankson put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Roko Buvac. 22 minutes into the game, Limerick AFC's Baiscend Frankson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roko Buvac made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Roko Buvac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pearson McLian, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Oto Pešorda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Donja Dubrava's supporters rose to their feet, but Oto Pešorda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quinn McBjarton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baiscend Frankson in the 34th minute of play forced Donja Dubrava's goalkeeper Roko Buvac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Limerick AFC booed when Donja Dubrava was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Božo Cizelj didn't get a good kick on the ball. Limerick AFC's Quinn McBjarton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Horvatiček in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Božo Cizelj got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute, Njegoš Radman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Donja Dubrava's Njegoš Radman fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Quinn McBjarton was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Arnold Kirby made in the 55th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Donja Dubrava's Oto Pešorda. Oto Pešorda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quinn McBjarton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Njegoš Radman's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Limerick AFC's Quinn McBjarton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Njegoš Radman in the 71st minute of play. Gill Holt's late challenge caught a Donja Dubrava's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gill Holt helped the player get up and apologised. Filip Horvatiček fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quinn McBjarton having to interfere.
