Benet Saez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the game, Benet Saez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Matias Matute. Benet Saez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 24th minute Guipuzkoa Urguia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Gene saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Guipuzkoa Urguia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaime Gene was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Jesús Puyol charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jesús Puyol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th minute, Jesús Puyol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Sandro Santos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The REUS NILOGA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. REUS NILOGA's Jaime Gene played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Ibias in the 40th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carmelo Ibias in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaime Gene prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jaime Gene made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guipuzkoa Urguia in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

REUS NILOGA's Jaime Gene proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save REUS NILOGA from getting a goal against them. Guipuzkoa Urguia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Jaime Gene made a huge save. Jaime Gene showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Ibias in the 67th minute of the match. Guipuzkoa Urguia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jaime Gene tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Guipuzkoa Urguia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmelo Ibias was extremely unlucky when he, in the 79th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Guipuzkoa Urguias short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Jaime Gene to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guipuzkoa Urguia got free with Jaime Gene in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mosen Dominguez's late challenge caught a Lourdes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mosen Dominguez helped the player get up and apologised. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lourdes FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for REUS NILOGA.
