The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Kang Han Zhen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benedicto Ireno was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 11 minutes into the game, Pablo Innocenzio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Fidel Teofilio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 14th minute Fernando Seber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Teofilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 16 minutes, Colas Valdueza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Colas Valdueza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. &La vieja Guardia&'s Fidel Teofilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Innocenzio in the 18th minute of play. Benedicto Ireno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kang Han Zhen, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. &La vieja Guardia&'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edelmiro Tartalo in the 21st minute. A nice corner shot did that Edelmiro Tartalo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benedicto Ireno quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice moves Mao Yang could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Benedicto Ireno however easily saved by the left post. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Benedicto Ireno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kang Han Zhen in the 25th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Kang Han Zhen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benedicto Ireno was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After 35 minutes, Edgar Asserlindh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the &La vieja Guardia& and the C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th match minute, &La vieja Guardia& was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Asserlindh to maneuver through the defense. If Pablo Innocenzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ booed when &La vieja Guardia& was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Asserlindh didn't get a good kick on the ball. &La vieja Guardia&'s Bruno Isusko quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jeremias Felo, made in the 46th minute of the game. After 47 played minutes C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Felo. The &La vieja Guardia& players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kang Han Zhen made a kick off. Fidel Teofilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Colas Valdueza in the 55th minute of the match. In the 58th match minute, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Felo to maneuver through the defense. Fidel Teofilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Colas Valdueza in the 61st minute of play. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Benedicto Ireno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kang Han Zhen in the 62nd minute of play. Fidel Teofilio made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Fernando Seber sent off a good shot on target. Fidel Teofilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yin Wei Yi in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Innocenzio in the 73rd minute of play forced &La vieja Guardia&'s goalkeeper Fidel Teofilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidel Teofilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Seber, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Edelmiro Tartalo kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th match minute, &La vieja Guardia& was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Tartalo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, &La vieja Guardia&'s Bruno Isusko got a free kick in the 91st minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
