Fidel Teofilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anana Wally, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 7thth minute of the game Kang Han Zhen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportivo Norte's Fernando Prassov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Kang Han Zhen put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fernando Prassov. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kang Han Zhen in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Prassov saved Club Deportivo Norte from getting behind. &La vieja Guardia& were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Club Deportivo Norte's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edelmiro Tartalo took the corner. &La vieja Guardia&'s Edelmiro Tartalo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fernando Prassov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kang Han Zhen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of &La vieja Guardia& booed when Club Deportivo Norte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Isusko didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Norte's goal looked a bit too open when Kang Han Zhen came free, but Fernando Prassov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Prassov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kang Han Zhen in the 24th minute of the match. Kang Han Zhen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gaspar Haitz tried in the 37th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Fernando Prassov a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-0. &La vieja Guardia&'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edelmiro Tartalo in the 42nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Mao Yang got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fernando Prassov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 44 minutes into the game, Kang Han Zhen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Fernando Prassov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Norte's Rodolfo Cordeara got a free kick in the 50th minute. When Edelmiro Tartalo came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the &La vieja Guardia& fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edelmiro Tartalo couldn't finish the play. If Kang Han Zhen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fernando Prassov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kang Han Zhen in the 55th minute of play. &La vieja Guardia&'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edelmiro Tartalo in the 58th minute. Fernando Prassov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kang Han Zhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Prassov came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by &La vieja Guardia&'s Kang Han Zhen. But to his dismay, Kang Han Zhen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 71st minute Anana Wally shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Teofilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute of the game Esteban Gonchan made a throw-in which Rodolfo Cordeara played forward. &La vieja Guardia&'s Fidel Teofilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Cordeara in the 78th minute of play. When Club Deportivo Norte's Rodolfo Cordeara in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 80th minute Pelayo Contratas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Prassov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo Norte's zone, Pelayo Contratas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Prassov came out of the goal and Pelayo Contratas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to &La vieja Guardia& getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Augusto Fernandes hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Bartolome in the 90th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Norte's goalkeeper Fernando Prassov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Agnaldo Albuquerque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gaspar Haitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
