La Temible's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabian Oterino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Tartalo Delatorre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Polentzi Abella, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 12th minute Szymon Rywin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tartalo Delatorre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Atlético Grau Piura's Tartalo Delatorre got control of the ball when Gerardo Abancens tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 23 played minutes La Temible got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Abar. After 24 played minutes, Atlético Grau Piura's Federico Moura shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adolfo Mcvey came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atlético Grau Piura reached it. After 26 minutes, Fabian Oterino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Grau Piura and the La Temible players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Fabian Oterino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Atlético Grau Piura's goal looked a bit too open when Polentzi Abella came free, but Tartalo Delatorre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Oterino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atlético Grau Piura's Fabian Oterino got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Atlético Grau Piura! An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Oterino in the 39th minute of play forced La Temible's goalkeeper Adolfo Mcvey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, La Temible's Gerardo Abancens got a free kick in the 40th minute. Tartalo Delatorre made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Gerardo Abancens sent off a good shot on target. Fabian Oterino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adolfo Mcvey having to make a save. Adolfo Mcvey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Oterino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 minutes, Roque Abalos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Temible and the Atlético Grau Piura players grew even worse after the yellow card. After the first half Atlético Grau Piura were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Oterino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Atlético Grau Piura's Tartalo Delatorre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juvenal Abecia in the 52nd minute of play. When Fabian Oterino came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Atlético Grau Piura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Oterino couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Fabian Oterino put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Adolfo Mcvey. 74 minutes into the match, Atlético Grau Piura's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Abancens came free, but Tartalo Delatorre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Polentzi Abella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tartalo Delatorre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Junior Quintana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. La Temible's Adolfo Mcvey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save La Temible from getting a goal against them. After 79 minutes, Bernardo Abar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Temible and the Atlético Grau Piura players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adolfo Mcvey didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 89th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. The La Temible supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Atlético Grau Piura's performance. The match ended with a win for Atlético Grau Piura.
