An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Estevez in the 10th minute of play forced Leones Futbol Club's goalkeeper Mauricio Guillelmus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Nicolas Estevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Guillelmus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Leones Futbol Club's zone, Aquilino Arnau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Guillelmus came out of the goal and Aquilino Arnau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximo Orain in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauricio Guillelmus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maximo Orain struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Mauricio Guillelmus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Golosos. Aquilino Arnau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Guillelmus having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Los Golosos's goalkeeper Silvestre Vilalobos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lázaro Berdoi. In the 35th minute Aquilino Arnau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Guillelmus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Leones Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Orain came free, but Mauricio Guillelmus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Los Golosos's zone, Cirilo Micael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvestre Vilalobos came out of the goal and Cirilo Micael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lázaro Berdoi got free with Silvestre Vilalobos in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Leones Futbol Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Golosos were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lázaro Berdoi was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Maximo Orain had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauricio Guillelmus. Leones Futbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximo Orain was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Mauricio Guillelmus came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Golosos's Maximo Orain. But to his dismay, Maximo Orain quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Los Golosos's Silvestre Vilalobos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Berdoi in the 65th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Estevez in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauricio Guillelmus saved Leones Futbol Club from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Nicolas Estevez took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Mauricio Guillelmus to make any attempt to save it. In the 72nd minute, Nicolas Estevez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute Lázaro Berdoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Vilalobos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Estevez kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After having played for 80 minutes, Nicolas Estevez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Golosos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Estevez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Golosos's goalkeeper Silvestre Vilalobos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrian Transito got free with Mauricio Guillelmus in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Los Golosos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Leones Futbol Club throughout the match.
