It was a well-played corner which Teobaldo Ubarna managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Tomas Snow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Lia in the 52nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Prospero Perico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomas Snow was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. The Lobos de Carelia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Cortez should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Eusebio Rios managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lobos de Carelia's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusebio Rios was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomas Snow breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Perico in the 79th minute of play forced El Renacer del Quijano FC's goalkeeper Tomas Snow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing El Renacer del Quijano FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
