After 10 minutes, Qu Sen Yan made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Los Golosos's Silvestre Vilalobos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Silvestre Vilalobos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Owen in the 13th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Qu Sen Yan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvestre Vilalobos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Silvestre Vilalobos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qu Sen Yan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that 崔光笑's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvestre Vilalobos was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Atlético Montserrat's Mickaël Landreau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Orain in the 22nd minute of play. Mickaël Landreau made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Aquilino Arnau sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute 崔光笑 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Vilalobos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximo Orain during the 26th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 崔光笑 was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Orain in the 51st minute of play forced Atlético Montserrat's goalkeeper Mickaël Landreau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd minute, Atlético Montserrat's Daniel Skröder seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Daniel Skröder the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Atlético Montserrat protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Daniel Skröder had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Silvestre Vilalobos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Calvet in the 60th minute. Los Golosos's Silvestre Vilalobos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 崔光笑 in the 75th minute of play. Mickaël Landreau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Estevez, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Estevez in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mickaël Landreau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Atlético Montserrat fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Atlético Montserrat's Michael Owen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Los Golosos made a substitution. Saturnino Ascencio replaced Maximo Orain. Silvestre Vilalobos made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when 崔光笑 sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute Saturnino Ascencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mickaël Landreau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Atlético Montserrat eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
